Resin Control Support

Quick Start Guide

Installation

1. Download Resin Control from the App Store and Play Store
2. Install on your iOS device (iOS 16.6 or later required) or Android Device (beta app)
3. Launch the app and accept necessary permissions
4. Follow the in-app guide to connect to your printer

Supported Printers

Resin Control works with 3D printers that support the SDCP (Smart Device Control Protocol) protocol.

Required Permissions

• Local Network Access: For printer discovery and communication
• Camera Access: For viewing printer camera feed
• Notifications: For print status updates when the app is open
• * Camera view is disabled in Android Version until the development of the app it's released

Common Issues

Connection Problems

Printer Not Found

1. Ensure printer is powered on
2. Verify both devices are on the same network
3. Check if printer supports SDCP protocol
4. Try restarting both printer and app

Connection Lost During Print

1. Check network stability
2. Verify printer power status
3. Reconnect through the app
4. Print will continue even if connection is lost

File Management

Supported Formats

• .ctb files
• .goo files

Upload Issues

1. Check file format compatibility
2. Verify file isn't corrupted
3. Ensure sufficient printer storage
4. Check network connection stability
